Techno-Sciences delivers final Coastal Surveillance Station for Indonesia along Malacca Straits Techno-Sciences, Inc. (TSI) announces the delivery of the eighth and final Coastal Surveillance Station to be delivered under a U.S. Navy Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence (PEO C4I) contract for Integrated Maritime Surveillance Systems in Indonesia along the 600 mile Malacca Straits. The fully equipped stations were delivered as part of a U.S.-Indonesia bilateral partnership to increase Indonesia’s maritime security capabilities. The delivery of this final surveillance station completes the integrated maritime surveillance system established for the Indonesian Navy along the Malacca Straits and further solidifies the cooperative relationship fostered by the Departments of State and Defense through DoD’s Section 1206 Security Assistance Program. Representatives of the Indonesian Navy were on hand to take possession of the station after a thorough operational test and verification of all sensors and systems conducted by Techno-Sciences Country Manager Mr. Jacob Blankenship and representatives of U.S. Navy PEO C4I. Techno-Sciences’ VP of Trident Systems, Carl Frank, commented that “while we are proud of this milestone, there are many more to come in our work with SPAWAR and the Indonesian Navy. We have completed the system along the Malacca Straits and we look forward to delivering on additional work to enhance Indonesian Navy capabilities around the Sulawesi Sea.” About Techno-Sciences, Inc. |
