MSG GEOSAR LUT installed at INTA in Gran Canaria

The Spanish Space Agency INTA acquired a Local User Terminal for reception of signals from the MeteoSAT Second Generation (MSG) satellite. The system was put into operation by Jeff Khorrami and the INTA team headed by Emilia Melian Martinez in February 2003. It is now being used to test the MSG satellite. The team presented results from the tests at a COSPAS-SARSAT Working Group Meeting in Toulouse in March 2003.
