New Sarsat System for India

The LEOLUTs installed in Bangalore and Lucknow India in 1988-89 were TSi's first fielded SARSAT systems. In December 2002, the Indian LEOLUT in Bangalore was upgraded with new processors and a new antenna. The system is installed at the Indian Space Research Organization in Bangalore . N.K. Shrivastava is the Program Manager for the ISRO SARSAT system.
