TSi and UMD Receive MIPS award Dr. Gaurav Bajpai and Professor Christopher Davis of the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Maryland received a Maryland Industrial Partnership (MIPS) award from the Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute (MTECH). MIPS awards are given by the State of Maryland via MTECH to promote business growth in the state. Under the MIPS program the University and the company share the rights to technology developed in the research. TSi has developed two patents in past MIPS contracts. “Interaction with the University is a great advantage for a high technology company like TSi,” said Chris LaVigna, President of TSi. |
