Techno-Sciences Inc. Press Release SPAWAR continues with Techno-Sciences’ in Indonesia and Malaysia Techno-Sciences, Inc. (TSI) announces the award of an additional $19.4M in contracts signed at the close of fiscal year 2008 for additional work in Indonesia and Malaysia. The added work will encompass two additional Coastal Surveillance Stations with a Command Center and network enhancements for the Indonesian Navy and five additional Coastal Surveillance Stations for the Malaysian Armed Forces. Both contracts also include Concept of Operations Training, Operations and Maintenance Training, and Logistics support. The contract modifications amend existing contracts established in 2007 with the Space and Naval Warfare Command in San Diego. Techno-Sciences’ VP of Trident Systems Carl Frank, noted that SPAWAR’s contract with Techno-Sciences calls for complete turnkey systems and that Techno-Sciences is uniquely positioned in SE Asia to deliver cost effective systems expeditiously. SPAWAR’s Program Manager Mike Taylor commented that "Techno-Sciences performance over the past two years in Indonesia and Malaysia has been exceptional. This latest award will allow us to continue working together and building on our remarkable successes to date in a region that is challenging but enormously important for the host countries, the United States and all countries dependent on maritime trade through those critical sea lanes." The additional work in South East Asia boosts Techno-Sciences presence in the area to over $75M in systems delivered or on order.
