Techno-Sciences to develop the new DASS Developmental LUT

On July 7, 2004 NASA announced that Techno-Sciences has been selected for award of the DASS Developmental Local User Terminal procurement. The project is sponsored by the Search and Rescue Mission Office at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

"We are very pleased to have been selected by NASA to develop the next generation COSPAS-SARSAT equipment," said Dr. Gilmer Blankenship, Chairman of Techno-Sciences, Inc. "This new DASS System is the future of COSPAS-SARSAT search and rescue. This new technology will benefit global search and rescue for many years to come."
