The
Pennsylvania State University College of Engineering
has a long history of excellence in research and education. Penn
State has a strong research program in the area of prognostics and
remaining life prediction, and they have been pioneers in the field
of life extending control. Professor Asok Ray, Distinguished Professor
of Mechanical Engineering, leads this effort at PSU. He also leads
an Army Research Office (ARO) Multidisciplinary University Research
Initiative (MURI) to conduct theoretical and experimental research
on pervasive failures in complex systems. Techno-Sciences, Inc.
has been working with Professor Ray on the development of algorithms
for data driven prognostics. |
