Control Systems Design

Dynamic systems modeling and control systems design is a cornerstone of TSi. Our engineers have a cumulative experience of over 100 years in this line of work. TSi provides design and development services for custom control system software solutions for many types of customers. TSi has state of the art facilities including symbolic and computational tools such as Mathematica and Matlab/Simulink, as well as finite element modeling capabilities.

Dr. Harry Kwatny and Dr. Gilmer Blankenship, the owners and two of founders of TSi, have played a significant role in the development of symbolic computing aimed at bringing theoretical advances in nonlinear system theory into engineering practice. They are authors of the book Nonlinear Control and Analytical Mechanics, published by Birkhauser. Dr. Kwatny has been the lead in the development of one of the most sophisticated nonlinear symbolic modeling and control design tools available on the market today, TSi ProPac.

We use state of the art development methodologies including object oriented programming in C++ and software development in real-time systems such as Wonderware InTouch and InControl, Labview, the Matlab Realtime Workshop.
