In an ongoing effort funded under the Army's STTR program, TSi is developing computational tools for approximate nonlinear filtering for practical applications. With the emergence of small scale, inexpensive, embedded sensors, high performance estimators have to contend with system and measurement nonlinearities. Accordingly, TSi in collaboration with University of Maryland (UMD) are working on an innovative open architecture, computational toolbox for the design and development of nonlinear signal processing systems that will prove valuable – saving time and money and producing better results – in the design of filtering and state estimation systems for real applications.
