ProPac Symbolic Modeling & Control Software

TSi ProPac is a Mathematica package for symbolic modeling and control design with facilities to export models and controllers to Matlab/Simulink environment for simulation and real-time implementation.

ProPac automates the creation of complex, high fidelity nonlinear system models and linear and nonlinear control designs that were previously developed by engineers by hand. Our software can save engineers hours to weeks during the model development and controller design cycles. In addition, model or controller changes, which would typically send the engineer back to the drawing board to start over, can be accomplished in minutes with our software. It helps engineers handle systems of much greater complexity than is possible by hand.

Unlike other available modeling and simulation tools that only generate a linearized version of the model around a specified operating point, ProPac generates the full nonlinear model equations in explicit form, including state-space and affine representations. These equations are needed for state of the art nonlinear control design.

Examples of ProPac applications include multibody systems, flexible structures, wheeled and tracked vehicles, aircraft and submarine modeling and control.

It is available commercially in the TSi ProPac system.
