Lithuania

The government of Lithuania has installed TSi's new Precision SAR Rescue Planning Workstations in their national Rescue Coordination Centers (RCC). The TSi equipment was funded by a grant from the Norwegian Government. These new systems will bring advanced rescue planning technology to the Baltic States . Alert data will be provided to the RCCs from the Norwegian Mission Control Center.

“Norway is pleased to have strengthened the global COSPAS-SARSAT system by supporting the installation of rescue planning systems in our neighbor states,” said Mr. Tore Wangsfjord, Chief of Operations JRCC North Norway.

Dr. Jerry Nardi, TSi's Director of Mission Control Center Systems installed the RCC equipment in Lithuania 2003.
