Nigeria TSi was awarded a contract by the Nigerian Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in May 2002 for the installation of a Local User Terminal and a Mission Control Center at NEMA Headquarters in Abuja. The system was installed, accepted, and commissioned in June 2003. The Nigerian COSPAS-SARSAT system was acquired under the leadership of Mrs. Oluremi Olowu, Director-General.The point of contact for the Nigerian COSPAS-SARSAT system is:
