In 1992 the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) selected Techno-Sciences to manufacture, install and maintain fourteen (14) United States Second Generation LUTs replacing their previous US LUTs.

These LUTs were installed in Alaska, California, Guam, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Maryland and Texas. Techno-Sciences completed the entire installation in eighteen months.

TSi also developed and installed the Third Generation USMCC, the US portable Operations Support Equipment - a C-130 transportable LUT/MCC system, and the US Systems Support Equipment - a special LUT for system diagnostics and test.
