Trident AIS (Automatic Identification System)

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has mandated the use of an Automatic Identification System (AIS) to help improve safety at sea by enabling the tracking of vessels by shore-based stations and other vessels (SOLAS Chapter V, regulation 19).
