TSi Acquired Orolia’s Satellite Search and Rescue Business

Lanham, Maryland, USA – April 27, 2020 – TSi, the global leader in Search and Rescue (SAR) satellite ground stations and software solutions, announced today that it has acquired Orolia’s Global Satellite Search and Rescue (SAR) business. This transaction will enable TSi’s Satellite SAR business, leadership and expert staff to focus almost exclusively on Satellite SAR, and better serve their global customer base and the international search and rescue community as a whole. Following this acquisition, TSi now holds a world-leading position in Satellite SAR with more than forty years of experience in delivering life-saving technology to its customers.

This acquisition was completed as a Management Buy Out (MBO) and brings the entire Orolia Satellite SAR team and its wealth of knowledge and experience into TSi. Existing customers can expect a continued focus and improvement of the already outstanding customer service experience and support that they have today. By leveraging its deep-seated experience in the SAR operational space, TSi will be able to deliver technology solutions better than ever before to its global clientele.
