TSi Awarded Contract for the Delivery of Phased Array Antenna System in Guam to Augment the United States MEOSAR System Capability

Lanham, Maryland, USA – September 27, 2022 – TSi, the global leader in Search and Rescue (SAR) satellite ground stations and software solutions, announced today that it has been selected by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to deliver its Horizon Phased Array MEOLUT Antenna (PAA) to enhance NOAA’s SARSAT ground segment system in Guam.

“We are excited to have TSi building the Guam Phased Array Antenna (GPAA) which will greatly increase MEOLUT coverage of the Pacific. TSi has provided excellent support to NOAA in the past and we are confident they will continue to be successful for this project,” said NOAA Ground Systems Engineer, Jesse Reich.

It is the second Phased Array System TSi will deliver to NOAA following the contact awarded in 2020 to augment NOAA’s MEOSAR system in Hawaii.
