Lanham, Maryland, USA – April 8, 2021 – TSi has successfully completed the Cospas-Sarsat commissioning of a newly deployed MEOLUT for the country of China. The commissioning process and final approval indicates the solution meets or exceeds all Cospas-Sarsat standards, and that China is able to share MEOLUT data with other Cospas-Sarsat member nations in the process of life saving search and rescue operations.

According to Wan Qian, CTTIC’s Director of Transport Information & Telecommunication Emergency Support Centre, “China is always looking to take advantage of the latest in SAR technological innovation and we trust TSi’s expertise and leadership in MEOSAR technology to stay at the forefront of this life-saving technology.
